Age 88 of Monroe died at Pleasant View Nursing Home. She was born in Cross Plains, Wisconsin, the youngest of 12 children, daughter of John and Margaret (Saeman) Adler. Rosella was a 1942 graduate of Middleton High School. Rosella and John F. Dahmen were married on August 13, 1946 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Middleton.
While raising her family Rosella helped her husband in the cheese factory. She also worked at Swiss Colony, and later became the bookkeeper for the Black Hawk School District for many years. She then worked for Ekum Abstract and Lafayette County Abstract & Title until retiring.
Rose was an avid bowler and enjoyed all area sports events with her husband. She was a long time member of St. John's Catholic Church in South Wayne serving as singer. After moving to Monroe, Rosella was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish in Monroe. She was preceded in death by her husband; John, by 3 days, parents; John and Maggie Adler, brothers; Raymond, Albert, Norbert, Donald, Eugene, Harold, and Ervan, sisters; Sister Dorothy Adler, Bernice Lamberty and Sister Agatha Adler.
