Mr. Larry Woodard, 70, of Lebanon, passed away Sept. 17, 2014, at his home. Larry was born Feb. 9, 1944 in Jamestown, the son of the late Edgar and Edna (Jones) Woodard. He graduated from Thorntown High School. He married Sharon Moon on Oct. 22, 1966. She survives.

Larry built many custom homes in Lebanon and the surrounding communities. He was well known for the great pride he took in all of his construction. He regularly hit the circuit in Lebanon stopping at Flap Jack’s, Titus Bakery and Hardee’s for breakfast then on to Brenda’s for lunch and Siglers for dinner.

Larry loved tractors and was inducted into the Hall of Fame of Tractor Pulling. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and was always trying to pull a prank on someone.

Survivors include his wife Sharon and son Ron (Mechelle) Woodard; grandchildren Shane Woodard, Brett Woodard, Kari Woodard and Breanna Woodard all of Lebanon; sister Carol and several nieces and nephews. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, siblings Devon, Ed, Arda Jean, Phyllis Mae, Naomi, Marlin, Charlie, Rita and Tommy and grandchildren Zach and Levi Woodard.
