She was born in Gastonia, NC, to the late Fred Crisp and Eunice Smith Crisp.

Peggy grew up "Down at the Ragan" and retired from Osage Manufacturing (Reeves Brothers) in Bessemer City. She attended Bethel church in McCaysville, Ga... Peggy enjoyed shopping and going out to eat. But what she enjoyed most was watching the Atlanta Braves play ball. Peggy was a wonderful mother, grandmother and loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bobby Patrick Clark, son, Stephen Clark, and grandson, Stevie Clark.

Survivors include her loving husband of 27 years, Kenneth H. Caldwell, daughter, Christy Clark Myers; granddaughters Dawn Holt (Brent), Brandy Myers and 6 great-grandsons with first husband Bob Clark.

After marrying Ken Caldwell in 1994 she then had a large, blended family who she loved as her own. Daughter Gail Caldwell, son Gary Caldwell (Debby), daughter Ruby Gay Caldwell, Son Greg Caldwell (Al), 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren who she loved much.

She and Ken had many great adventures together. From trips to Colorado and Las Vegas to living in Florida for a time. As well as many cruises and trips to Pigeon Forge, TN.

Peggy was loved and admired by many. She made a lasting impression from her beginnings at the Ragan to her final days in Georgia. She will be missed by all.

Funeral: Sisk-Butler Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Woodard officiating.

Interment:Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery in Bessemer City, NC.
