He was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church where he was a Deacon as well as a soloist in the choir. Mr Crisp retired from Hefner Tires.
Survivors are his wife Gretna, son Andy Crisp, daughter and son-in-law Myra and Rob Smith, sons and daughters-in-law Clay and Elizabeth Crisp, Mark and Melissa Crisp, grandchildren Candler Smith Anthony, Stanley Bishop Crisp, Shannon Smith, Teanor Crisp, Bailey Crisp, Jody Crisp and Ashlyn Crisp all of Columbia, brothers and sisters are Glenn, Charles ,Howard, Jim, Aileen, Louise, Betty all of Gastonia NC and Peggy of Atlanta
