Gladys Anderson Of Burlington Dies

BURLINGTON Gladys Russell Anderson, 56, of Burlington passed away Sunday morning at Sycamore Municipal Hospital, having been admitted as a patient Saturday. She was born April 12, 1901, in Burlington township, daughter of the late Frank and Helen Schuz Russell, and had resided in the Burlington area all her life. For a number of years she was a school teacher in the Burlington area and for the last two years was kindergarten teacher for Central School District 301.

On May 5, 1922, she was married to Elmer Anderson . Besides her husband she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Lucille) Hosey and Mrs. LeRoy (Ruth) Getzelman, both of Burlington; a sister, Mrs. Lloyd Anderson of Burlington; two brothers, Ralph Russell of Elgin and Robert Russell of Pensacola, Fla.; also four grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock from the Burlington Methodist Church, of which she was a member. Rev. John Curtis, Jr., officiated and burial was in Burlington Union cemetery.
