Mrs. John Evans, 70, died Dec. 20 at St. Cloud Hospital.

Mrs. Evans is survived by her husband, sons and daughter, Jerry, Albany; Marcellus, Leander and Alcuin, St. Cloud; Stanley, Esther, Alaska; Sylvester, Fairbanks, Alaska; and Mrs. Graydon (Viola) Baggenstoss, Albany; 34 grandchildren, and brothers and sister, John Klassen, Blackfoot, Idaho; Leo Klassen, Melrose; and Mrs. Norb (Gert) Hoffman, Albany. One son, Ronald, preceded her in death.

She was a Gold Star Mother and a member of the Christian Mothers, St. Ann's Catholic Aid Society, American Legion Auxiliary and St. Theresa Mission Group.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Church of Seven Dolors with the burial in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call at Schaefer-Brenny Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Sunday.

Rosaries will be prayed Sunday at the funeral home as follows: at 3:30 p.m. by the St. Theresa Mission Group; 4 p.m. by the American Legion Auxiliary; 7:30 p.m. by the Christian Mothers; and 8:30 p.m. by the St. Ann's Catholic Aid Society.

Church of the Seven Dolors parish will say the parish prayers at the funeral home at 8 p.m. Sunday.
