Following a lengthy illness, Mrs. Minnie Eliza Strong, 93, of 1413 16th St. E., died in a Calgary hospital Friday.
Born in Michigan, she came to Olds 48 years ago, and to Calgary in 1938.
Mrs. Strong is survived by two sons, Walter C., Anacourtes, Wash.; Floyd M., Olds; four daughters, Mrs. William Head, Victoria; Mrs. J.H. Fletcher, Calgary; Mrs. C.R. Walrod, Kelowna; Mrs. H.G. Peck, Cochrane; 20 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
