Dorothy Dale Andrew Dean, 80, of Bedford Ky., died Friday, Jan. 10, 2014 at Signature Healthcare in Bedford, Ky.
She was born Feb. 15, 1933, in Bedford, Ky., to Henry F. Andrew and Lelah Craig Martin. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed tending her flower gardens.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Dean; six children, Kathleen Cheatham and Sharon Lewis, both of Frankfort, Ky., Trudy Boshers of Livingston, Ky., Tena Hartley of Frankfort, Ky., William Dean Jr. of Lexington, Ky. and Christopher Dean of LaGrange, Ky.; three brothers, Lawrence Craig Andrew, Graham Perkinson and Billy Joe Perkinson; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Danny J. Taylor and Randall F. Eldridge; her parents; and 22 siblings, Gloria Andrew Schwab, Molly Andrew Shelton, Herbert Andrew, Winford Andrew, Howard Andrew, Hazel Andrew Barnette, Viola Andrew Jeffries, Russell Andrew, Warren Andrew, Elsworth Andrew, Laverne Andrew Brooks, Marie Andrew Kosak, Vivian June Andrew, Alma Lee Perkinson Hakes, Claude Perkinson, Maurice Perkinson, Carol Bradley Perkinson, Leonard Perkinson, Martha Perkinson Khrone, Orena Perkinson Tingle, Gail Perkinson Mahoney and Jean Perkinson Kelly.
A memorial service will be at noon Thursday at Ransdell Funeral Home in Bedford, Ky. Burial will be in Bedford Cemetery.
