Gail Marie Mahoney,79, of Carrollton, died on Wednesday morning at her residence in Carrollton, with her family by her side following an extended illness. She was born in Trimble County, Kentucky to Clellan and Lelah Craig Perkinson who preceded her in death. She was a Baptist and retired from Kawneer Corp.
Survivors include 4 daughters; Judy Hayes of Biloxi, Dianna Liter of Madison, IN, Cherry Reynolds of Worthville, KY and Penny Popp of Turners Station, KY, 3 sisters; Jean Kelley of Bedford, KY, Dorothy Dean of Bedford, KY and Gloria Schwab of Louisville, KY, 3 brothers; Graham Perkinson of Olympia, WA, Billy Joe Perkinson of Bedford, KY and Lawrence Andrews of Orlando, FL, 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Precedeing her in death in addition to her parents is her husband, Charles Edward "Tooney" Mahoney, a son; Monty Leon Staples, 4 sisters; Alma Hakes, Helen Moss, Orina Tingle and Martha Krohn, 4 brothers; Claude "Doc" Perkinson, Maurice Perkinson, Leonard Perkinson and Carroll Bradley Perkinson.
The Rev. Linda Morgan and the Rev. Jimmy Stewart will officiate the funeral service
