Thelma Jean Perkinson Kelley, 82, of Louisville, Ky., formerly of Trimble County, Ky., died Monday, March 7, 2011, at St. Mary Hospital in Louisville, Ky.

She was born Dec. 3, 1928, in Trimble County, Ky., the daughter of Cullen and Lelia Perkinson. She was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting and cooking. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by seven children, Eugene Kelley of Bedford, Ky., Geraldine Peck of Louisville, Ky.; Steven M. Kelley of Milton, Ky., Vicki L. Cox of Louisville, Ky., Kevin C. Kelley of Bedford, Ky., Timothy W. Kelley of Milton, Ky., and Wanda Kailen of New Albany; four siblings, Ghram Perkinson of Olympia, Wash., Billy Joe Perkinson of Bedford, Ky., Dottie Dean of Bedford, Ky., and Lawrence "Punky" Adams of Florida; 21 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Kelley; her father; her mother, Lelia Perkinson Martin Craig; and several siblings.

The funeral was at Ransdell Funeral Home in Bedford, Ky. A graveside service and burial was in Bedford Cemetery.
