The death of Mrs. Emma Brodhead Stahl, 72, occurred suddenly Friday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edwin Drum, 218 Carlisle Street. She was the widow of the late Charles H. Stahl, who died November 1, 1938.
Mrs. Stahl resided for the past 29 years at 20 Stark Street. Deceased was a member of the First Free Methodist Church.
She is survived by the following children, John H., William G., Charles H., Mrs. Edwin Drum, Wilkes-Barre; Sheldon Brace, Hunlock Creek; sister, Mrs. William Gillmeyer, brother, John Brodhead, Wilkes-Barre; 19 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Drum residence Monday afternoon at 2. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Services will be conducted by Rev. A. K. Lindsley, assisted by Rev. John Howard.
