Passed away with her family by her side in her 80th year at the Victoria General Hospital. She is predeceased by her parents Capt. Ivan Clarke (1971) and Beatrice (2003), brothers William (1962), Ivan (1978) and Raymond (2007). She is survived by her husband Barry; children: Arthur (Leslie) Hixon, BC; Deborah (Bill) Irwin, Kamloops; Michael, Victoria; and Jennifer (Neil) Aldous, Victoria. Grandchildren Sarah and Emily Kaehn, Taryn and Brandon (Ailish) Irwin, Olivia and Hannah Kaehn, and two great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Hugh, Ahousat, BC; Nada (Robert) Foster, Victoria; Arthur (Gloria), Tofino, BC; Patsy (Peter) Moseley, Nanaimo, BC; and Diane (Zenon) Bainas, Goodeve, Saskatchewan, and all of their families. Her grandparents arrived in Victoria in 1876. She was a double U.E.L. descendant and fifth generation Canadian. She was a member of Odd Fellows Rebekah Lodge since 1948. In lieu of flowers please give to the charity of your choice. Memorial service to be conducted by Gordon Thurston and will held January 19th at 2:00 pm at McCalls Brothers Funeral Services, 1400 Vancouver St., Victoria, BC. Interment at Ross Bay Cemetery with her mother.
