CLARKE Beatrice Florence Passed away in her sleep at Victoria General Hospital, Victoria, BC, on July 10, 2003 in her 101st year. Beatrice was the fifth of seven children born to Albert and Elva Jane (Hodgson) McDonald. She was born in Bosanquet Twsp., Lambton Co., Ontario on November 21, 1902, and married into a UEL family in 1927, in Victoria. She was a fourth generation Canadian and third generation Centenarian. She will be very much missed by her children [edited for privacy], and [edited for privacy] both of Victoria. Her grand- children [edited for privacy], Hixon, BC, [edited for privacy], Kamloops, [edited for privacy], Victoria, [edited for privacy], Victoria, [edited for privacy], Anchorage, Alaska, [edited for privacy], Washington, [edited for privacy], Seward, Alaska, and [edited for privacy], Marshfield, Missouri. She leaves 22 great grandchildren and six g-great grandchildren. Her brother [edited for privacy] of Seattle as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins will also sadly miss her. Memorial service was handled by McCall Brothers. Burial in Ross Bay Cemetery.
