Hartie B. Bost, 82, of 3405 Claude Road, White Hall, Arkansas, died Saturday, June 21, 1997 at her home.
Born at Pine Bluff, Arkansas, on December 27, 1914 the daughter of the late Hartwell Walter and Annie Harper Walter.
She grew up in Jefferson County and Married first: Walter Smith on July 24, 1931 and he died July 28, 1937.
Married Second: Thomas Hervey Bost on November 19, 1938 and he died August 1, 1988.
In addition to her husbands, Mrs. Bost was preceded in death by a daughter: Gloria H. Berry, a brother; Michael Costello "Cos" Walter and a sister: Lucy Mae Cannon.
Survivors include her son and daugher in law: Gail and Linda Smith of Rison, five brothers: Henry H. Walter, Harry D. "Dan" Walter and his wife Charlene all of Pine Bluff, Walter C."Lum" Walter of Chowcilla, California, and John Walter and wife Pearlie Walter, of Texarkana, Ark., three sisters: Louise Waddle, Josie Graves and Catherine "Kat" Hubbard and husband Lonnie, all of Pine Bluff, 14 grandchidlren, 32 great granchildren and 7 great-great granchildren.
Funeral Services were held Tuesday Morning , June 24, 1997, at the chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Home of Pine Bluff, Arkasnas conducted by A. d. Livingston.
Burial was in Cypress Memorial Garden Cemetery, Hwy 15 (now now as Hwy 63) South by Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Home.
