Mrs. Elva (Lucas) McLean, 49, of Rt. 1, Carrollton, died in her home after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage. A life resident of this area, she was born in Carrollton May 17, 1911, a daughter of Mrs. Belle (Ray) Lucas and the late Jesse J. Lucas. Mrs. McLean had resided in Center Twp. the past 29 years.
Surviving are her husband, June S. McLean; five sons, Jesse J. of Carrollton, Robert and Edward at home, Dale of Malvern and Duane of New Harrisburg; two daughters; Mrs. Ermine Burney of Carrollton and Miss Mary McLean at home; seven brothers, Oscar and Loren Lucas of Rt. 1, Carrollton, Frank, Jesse and Walter Lucas of Rt. 4 Carrollton, Elmer and Howard Lucas of Carrollton; one sister, Mrs. Freda Wood of Rt. 1, Carrollton, and her mother. Services were Monday in the Sweeney Funeral Home at Carrollton with the Rev. Lawrence Holmer officiating. Burial was in Westview Cemetery here.
