Loren F. Lucas, 67, of 73 East Main Street, Carrollton, died Saturday in Aultman Hospital after a long illness. Born January 31, 1910, in Center Twp., a son of the late Jesse J. and Isabelle (Ray) Lucas, he was a retired employee of the Carroll County Highway Department.
He was married August 10, 1929 to the former Bernice Tope, who survives. In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons, John N. and William R., both of Carrollton; four brothers, Oscar, Howard, Jesse and Walter, all of Carrollton; one sister, Mrs. Fred (Freda) Wood of Carrollton, and eight grandchildren. Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death. Services were held Tuesday in the Allmon-Dugger Funeral Home at Carrollton with Rev. Henry Holyoak officiating. Burial was in Westview Cemetery here.
