Conley Julie, 68, of Kendallville, died Oct. 25 in Sacred Heart Home in Avilla. She was born April 30, 1927 in Floyd County, Ky. to Crit and Maggie (Bradley) Handshoe. She married Ellis Conley who died Oct. 16, 1961. Surviving are a daughter, Linda Bidwell of Avilla; a son, Olaf Conley of Avilla; a longtime companion, Adam Gamble; 6 sisters, Delphia Miller of Brimfield, Glenna Johnson and Dorothy Conley of LaOtto, Anna Bailey of Garrett, Ruth Bailey of Ray, Mich., and Edith Cook of Auburn; 2 brothers, Garman of Fort Wayne and Pard of Biloxi, Miss.; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son; a daughter; 2 brothers and a granddaughter. Funeral Friday in Hite Funeral Home, Kendallville. Burial, Lakeside Cemetery, Fremont. ~ 11-9-1995
