Helen Joyce Wood Talbot passed away quietly of natural causes May 25,2014. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who was completely devoted to her family.

Some of our fondest memories surround her family gatherings, playing music, board games, playing badminton and washers. She graduated from Hinckley High School in 1948. She was active in the LDS Church, serving in many callings faithfully and served an LDS mission to Oregon. She was a devoted wife, homemaker, and mother who spent many hours with her kids and made sure each one new how much she loved them. She met and married Daryl Reed Talbot in 1948 in the LDS Manti Temple. They spent 70 years together here on earth. They raised six children; Daryl, Phil, Scott, Brenda (Slack), Marjorie and Kory. They have 29 grandchildren and 44 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Daryl Reed Talbot, father, Leonard Ashby Wood, her mother Norma Fae Justesen and brothers Glen, Rodney, Reed and sisters Dana and Dorothy; Sons , Paul and Steven and Grandson Eric.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 11:00am at the Washington Telegraph LDS Chapel located at 700 E. Telegraph, Washington Utah. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services with a family gathering starting at 9:30am.

The family would like to thank Southern Utah Home Health and Emeritus at Cliff view and especially Donna, Lindsay, Janice, Amber, Darci, and Doug and all those that were so caring and compassionate in their care of our Mother.
