Flossie Everhart Berrier, 92, of Eastside Drive, died Thursday, May 29, 2014.

The funeral will be 4 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2014, at Beulah United Church of Christ with the Rev. Trudy Irving officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2014, at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at 2240 Leonard Road, Lexington.

Mrs. Berrier was born February 10, 1922, in Davidson County, to Charles Thomas Everhart and Helen Sowers Everhart. She worked at Edgewood Apparel for many years where she served as a supervisor. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post. 3074. At her church Mrs. Berrier was a teacher of children in the children's department, a member of the Women's Guild, served on the Altar Committee as chairperson, and also served on the acolyte committee. In June 1947 she married the love of her life, Leonard G. Berrier, who died September 14, 2005. Also preceding her in death were her parents; brothers, Thomas Everhart, John Everhart, Jim Everhart, Frank Everhart, and Grant Everhart; and sisters, Fannie Whitlock, Sarah Beck, Mamie King, and Mary Bowers.

Surviving are her son, Len Berrier and fiancé Lelia Jeffries of Lexington; sister, Daisy Swing of Lexington; sisters in law, Jeanne Berrier Beck and Margaret Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.
