A short notice was made in the Gazette last week of the death of Mrs. Phoebe Caskey,who passed away
at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Klinefellar, at East Bloomfield.
She had lived with her daughter a greater part of the time since her husband, Alvah Caskey, died at the home here five years ago. Mrs. Caskey was greatly respected by all who knew her. The church in which she was an earnest worker, and the Sunday-school in which she was a faithful teacher, have met with a great loss. A son, Edgar Caskey, lives at Rochester. There are six grandchildren.
