Frederick Wales died at his home in North Geneva on Saturday morning, October 19, at the age of 75 years. He was an old settler of the county and was well known in this section.
Frederick Wales, who has resided on a farm in North Geneva, about two miles east of this village since 1864, was buried Monday. The funeral services were held at the residence the Rev. J. V. Trenery, officiating. Mr. Wales was born at Plymouth, Chenango county, N. Y., Dec. 12, 1814, where he resided until he came to Wisconsin and settled on the farm where he died. Eight children came with him. Mrs. T. W. Morefield being the oldest, seven of whom are now living. Mr. Wales was a thoroughly good citizen, respected by all. His wife crossed the dark river seven years ago, and now ripe in years and rich in the esteem of his fellow men he goes to renew the ties that death had severed. His sorrowing children have the sympathy of all.
