Carl E. Lehner, 71, a long-time resident of Dinuba, California died on August 9, 1977. He had been a patient at Sierra View Convalescent Home as a result of a stroke suffered in November 1975.
He was born in Chilton, the son of the late August Lehner and Caroline Hoberg. He graduated from Chilton High School in 1924. He was a brother of the late Earl, Lester and Lillian Lehner of Chilton. He married the former Emily Kaiser in Chilton where they established a home prior to moving to California.
Lehner retired from the Fresno County Department of Agriculture in 1972. He was a member of Saint Catherine’s Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
In addition to his widow, he is survived by his three sons, Paul of Carmichael, California, Carl Jr., of Kingsburg, California; Glenn of Dinuba, California and a daughter, Mrs. Marie Rose also of Dinuba and nine grandchildren.
