Mrs. Linda Faye Morgan Nelson, 64, died Sunday afternoon (March 9, 2014) at Pierce County Nursing Home after an extended illness.
She is a native of Millwood, but she lived most of her life in Waycross as a homemaker. She is the daughter of the late Miller Morgan and Nora Faye Sills Morgan. She is preceded in death by one son, Allen Davis.
Survivors include her husband, Jim L. Nelson of Waycross; two sisters, Agnes "Cassie" Copeland (Jerry) of Waycross, and Dorothy Puckett (Jody) of Waycross; two brothers, Larry Morgan (Linda) of Millwood, and Bobby Morgan (Geraldine) of Waycross; special friend and roommate, Wanda Pope; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday (March 12, 2014) at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Hargraves Chapel Cemetery in Millwood. The family will receive friends 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
