Ernest L. Doss
Services for Ernest L. Doss, 76, of 709 Schuyler St., who died Thursday at Community-General Hospital after a short illness, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 1628 W. Genesee St. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt.
Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
A life resident of the Syracuse area, Mr. Doss was a foreman for the Fay Foundry for more than 50 years until his retirement in 1971.
Surviving are his wife, the former Florence Baker: a brother, George and three sisters. Mrs. Edna Gaffey of Fayetteville, Mrs. Elizabeth McGinley of Phoenix and Mrs. Dorothy Myslivecek.
