Funeral Services for Arlie Junior Elder age 79 of Reeds Spring, Missouri will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 27, 2014 at the Apostolic Church near Reeds Spring with Rev. Danny Call and Rev. Jack Keithley officiating. Burial will follow in the Yocum Pond Cemetery under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson.

He died February 21, 2014 at his home.

He was born on January 9, 1935 in Taney County, Missouri the son of Arlie Brawner and Pearl Brown Elder. He was a construction worker by trade and was of the protestant faith and had been a resident of the area for many years.

Survivors are his wife: Gladys Breckenridge Elder of the home. Three children, Eddie Elder and wife Marie of Reeds Spring, Charlene Bonner and husband Jim Bonner of Reeds Spring and Michael Elder and wife Donna of Reeds Spring. One brother, Arthur Elder of Reeds Spring. Half- brothers, Jerry Brawner, Jim Brawner and Ronnie Brawner all of Hutchinson, Kansas and half- sister, Clarissa Hoss of McPherson, Kansas, 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Pearl Little and father Arlie Brawner, step-father Ollie Little, brothers, Gene Jackson, Ernest Elder, Charles Elder, Ralph Stultz, sisters, Sadie Barnes and Zola Brawner, half-brothers, Delmer Brawner, Bill Brawner and Larry Brawner, half- sisters, Norma Ardolino and infant Doris.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Wednesday in the funeral home.
