Darvin K. Waterman, 20, of Hawarden, died Monday, Nov. 17, in a cave-in accident at Hawarden.
Services were at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the First Baptist church at Hawarden. The Rev. Arthur J. DeNeui officiated. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery. There was a prayer service at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday at the Dow Funeral Home.
Mr. Waterman was born May 10, 1960, at Hawarden. He graduated from West Sioux High School in 1979.
He married Robin Solberg July 7, 1979, at Hawarden. He was employed by Dale Appliance Co.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include the widow; one daughter, Amanda Kae at home; his mother, Mrs. Wayne (Daisy) Hedden of Hawarden; and six brothers, Dennis, Larry and David, all of Sioux City, and Bruce, Rodney and Terry, all of Hawarden.
