Betty was the daughter of Elizabeth and Earl Whittington. She had an older half-sister, Doris Lorraine.
Betty lived in the Los Angeles area all of her life to my knowledge. She seemed to have a happy childhood but experienced difficulties as an adult from what I have gathered from other members of the family.
Betty married but I did not know her husband; I believe they divorced around 1982 after 10 or more years of marriage. They had no children.
It was not until I started researching my ancestry that I discovered Betty's death had occurred in 2004. Recently, I viewed her Death Certificate which confirmed she died from a heart attack at a local Glendora hospital.
Betty was an older cousin and I remember her as a beautiful, fun-loving, and sweet young woman in the 1960's.
