Sarah Arnold married William Sportsman on March 25, 1793 in Mercer County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Stephen and Jane (Finney) Arnold. We have a copy of the marriage.
To this union ten children were born Jacob, Hugh, James, Abraham, Samuel, John, Sarah, Mary Ann, William and Clarissa.
In 1963 my grandmother photographed pieces of William Sportsmans broken cemetery stone. We were there in 2006 and did not find a stone for Sarah or William.
We did get a copy of his probate record.
