We are creating this memorial in the belief that Christina's children would have buried her beside Pack. In 1920, she was living in Winslow which is only a few miles from Hazel Valley. There are no other records that indicate another burial site. Washington County Civil War Pension payment book recorded the last payment on 22 Sept 1922 and was received by Grover Cleveland Bogan, her son.
Christina White Bogan was the eldest known child of Saul and Mahalia (Wyatt) White of Spartanburg Co, South Carolina. She was one of 11 children.
Christina and Pack Bogan married in South Carolina about 1864. Together, they raised ten children.
