William "Willie" Bogan, age 28, of Hazel Valley in Washington County, Arkansas died January 31, 1894 of a self inflected wound in his room at the Natick House in Los Angeles, California.


He was born in Union County, South Carolina. Willie and Minnie were twins and the eldest children of Paschal Parham 'Pack' and Christina (White) Bogan.


The family moved first to Atlanta, Georgia after the Civil War and then onto Hazel Valley, Washington County, Arkansas. 


He and Viola Barnhart were married about 1887.


Survivors include his parents; his wife, Viola; a young daughter, Ella Mae; three brothers, Arnet Charles Bogan, Poindexter B. "Dexter" Bogan and Grover Cleveland "Cleve" Bogan; and five sisters, Mrs. Minnie Hight, Miss Mattie Bogan, Miss Margaret Eva "Maggie" Bogan, Miss Lola M. Bogan and Miss Myrtle A. Bogan.


Burial location is unknown at present.
