Grover was the son of Paschal Parham (Pack) Bogan and Christina White. His father and mother migrated from Union County, SC to Hazel Valley just after the Civil War. Grover served as a Deputy Sheriff in the 1930's under Sam Quinn in addition to being a watchman at Winslow for the Frisco Railroad. Grover married Clara Elizabeth Jones in Sebastian Co, Ark on 23 Oct 1906. Both were residents at that time in Hazel Valley.
