Jeanne was baptized on 5 February 1647, in Notre-Dame, Quebec. She married Pierre Maheuon 10 November 1659, at Notre-Dame-de-Québec. They are the parents of the following (verified with PRDH):
1) Marie (1663-1747) md Charles Letartre
2) Charles (abt 1666-1703) md Mare-Charlotte Garnier dit Grenier
3) Pierre (1669-1703) md Marie-Louise Garnier
4) Jeanne-Angelique (1671-1717) md Charles Garnier dit Grenier
5) Marie-Jeanne (1681-1754) md (a) Joseph Garnier dit Grenier and (b) Paul Belanger

Jeanne went to live with her grandfather, Zacharie Cloutier, at Chateau-Richer, when her father remarried in 1649 (she was 2 years old). It was under Zacharie's protection that she met Pierre Maheu when she was 13 years old.

They lost two of their sons during the smallpox epidemic of 1703.
