Born in Mortagne, Orne, Basse-Normandie in Paroisse Saint-Jean, Mortagne, Perche, France January 19, 1626, to Zacharie and Xainte Dupont.

Ann signed her marriage contract, the first in Canada, on July 27… 1636 and it is in front of Jean Guyon that the document was compiled. The marriage was celebrated on July 12, 1637. The happy husband of this 11 year old girl was Robert Drouin, originating in Pine-the-Garenne, a borough located at 10 km in the south of Mortagne. Unfortunately, the young woman died at age the 22 years on February 3, 1648 after having given birth to six children of which four had died in birth or shortly after. She was buried the following day on February 4, 1648.
