He married Xainte Dupont on 18 Jul 1616 in Mortagne, Perche, France.
Zacharie was described as a bourgeois seigneur working as a master-carpenter. Sieur de la Cloutièrerie.

Property Sold: 20 December 1670 • Beauport, Quebec, Canada. Zacharie CLOUTIER sold his land concession of "l'arriere-fief de La Cloutiererie" in Beauport to Nicolas Dupont on December 20 1670. This fief of LaCloutierie consisted of one thousand arpents of land.

Zacharie and Xainte had several children, including sons Zacharie, Jean, & Charles, and daughter Anne (who married Robert Drouin). In the 1630's thay all immigrated to Canada.
