Robert Drouin and Anne Cloutier (of Zacharie and Xainte Dupont) married in Beaupre Quebec, their marriage contract being signed in the Seigneurie of Beauport, parish of Notre Dame de la Misericorde, on July 27, 1636. This contract, which is still preserved in the archives of the Seminary of Quebec, was the first marriage contract drawn up in Nouvelle France, or Canada.
