Born January 18, 1914 in Oroville, California to James and Norma Donahue. Adopted by Charles and Ada Long after her mothers death. Married Richard Schaar, divorced. Married Don P. Flagg, who preceded her in death in 1986.
As a member of the LDS church she held many positions. She retired from Sears, crocheted beautifully, and was proud of her private pilots license.
She loved and served her family, her fellow men and the Lord all her life. Her cheerful countenance and good humor was enjoyed by all who knew her. A fine lady, she will be greatly missed.
Survived by her daughters: Mariene Mitchell; Frances Anderson (Fred L.); Jennifer Grainger (Dave) and Diane Williamson; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 15th. 11 A.M. in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Chapel, 10600 South 1700 East, in Sandy, where friends may call Monday evening, 7-9 p.m., and on Tuesday, one hour prior to the services. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
