Iona R. Renken, 69, of 613 W. Gift Ave. died Sunday, Oct. 20, 1991, at her residence.
Born Aug. 18, 1922, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, to Jack and Leaona Rose Alexander, she married Raymond G. "Ray" Renken on May 12, 1964, in Chicago. He survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Ronald L. Krause of Peoria and Albert R. Krause of Lakewood, Calif.; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Susan Brown of Great Bend, Kan., and Mrs. Marie Pierce of West Fork, Ark.; one stepson, Paul Renken of San Bernardino, Calif.; seven brothers, Steward Alexander of Springfield, Floyd Alexander of Creve Coeur, John Alexander of Peoria, Robert Alexander, Daniel Alexander and Michael Alexander, all of Sunnyland, and James Alexander of Sarasota, Fla.; and one sister, Mrs. Lloyd (Dorothy) Mock of Bloomington. She was preceded in death by two sisters, one brother and one grandchild.
She was a member and past president of Peoria Heights Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post 2602.
Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery.
