She was retired from U-Wana-Wash Frocks of Newville, and attended South Fairview Church of God and Elderly Day Activities in Carlisle.
She was the widow of Lester E. Smith. Surviving are four sons, Charles, Larry and Paul, all of Newville, and Donnie of Hanover; two daughters, Patsy Graham of Newburg, and Jean Mooney of Newville; two sisters, Ann Wolf of Carlisle, and Tillie Halloway of Shermans Dale; six stepbrothers, Leroy Gutshall, Bob Zimmerman and Curtis Riggleman, all of Newville, Dale Spidel and Charles Riggleman, both of Carlisle, and Clint Riggleman of Lancaster; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and four stepgreat-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Egger Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, West Pennsboro Twp.
Viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home

Services for Marie D. Smith, 71, of Vine Street, Newville, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Egger Funeral Home, 15 W. Big Spring Ave., Newville.
She died Thursday in her home.
Born May 17, 1920, in Boiling Springs, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Laura Riggleman Thrush. She was the widow of Lester E. Smith. She was a retired employee of U-Wanna-Wash Frocks, Newville. She attended South Fairview Church of God, Newville, and attended Elderly Day Activity in Carlisle.
