Mary S. Schraub, 86, of Metamora, Ill., passed away Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013, at Washington Christian Village.
She was born Oct. 18, 1927, in Cazenovia Township, Ill., to Joseph and Ida (Griese) Marchand. She married Charles R. Schraub on May 3, 2004.
Surviving are her husband of Pekin, two children, Jim Stamm of Metamora and Janet (Duane) Orwig of Washington; and two stepsons, Rod Schraub and Charles R. (Joyce) Schraub Jr., both of Pekin.
Also surviving are two sisters, Mildred Gieseking and Bernadine (Fredericks) Janssen, both of Metamora.
She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Stan Schneider, four brothers and one sister.
Mary enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, and dancing.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Metamora.
