DEATH OF MRS. BOONE.
Mrs. Nancy Boone, 73-year-old resident of the Newark vicinity, died unexpectedly yesterday morning at 11 o'clock while visiting at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Glen Hawkins, northeast of Bethel. Death was caused by apoplexy.
She was born August 14, 1863, her maiden name being Nancy Plunkett. On January 14, 1880, she was married to James Boone, who died in 1926. Of the nine children born to them, six survive: Everett Boone, of LaBelle, Mrs. Beulah Franks, of Lewistown, Mrs. Ida Corder living at home, Mrs. Flossie Anderson, of Quincy, Mrs. Gertie Bergman, of Newark, and Mrs. Rose Jones, of Ferndale, Washington. Also surviving are five half-sisters: Mrs. Joe Miller, of Newark, Mrs. James Cott, of Newark, Mrs. Nellie Comstock, of Laclede, Mrs. Lizzie Litchfield, of Higgins, Texas, Mrs. Blanche Landruss, of Everson, Washington, and one half-brother, Robert Plunkett, of Newark, and six grandchildren.
Mrs. Boone was a member of the Methodist church and the Rebekah Assembly. Funeral services will be held Thursday at Newark.
