30 Jun 1972: Harvey A. Gerberich, 89, 1513 Derry St., Harrisburg, died Thursday in the Harrisburg Hospital. A retired auctioneer, he was a member of the Harrisburg Republican Club and the Shellsville VFW Post 9639, and a charter member of the DAV Club, Harrisburg. Surviving are five daughters: Mary G. Gingrich and Mrs. Stella Eshleman, both of Palmyra; Mrs. Irene Boyer, Grantville RD 1; Eva E. Shifflett, Hershey, Mrs. Pauline Koons, Hershey RD 1. A son, Jacob S. Gerberich, Annville RD 2, also survives along with eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. [Lebanon Daily News]
