Hilda A. Kuehner, 79, of Kunkletown, died Friday in the Mahoning Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Mahoning Township. She was the wife of the late Burdell A. Kuehner Sr. Born in Saylorsburg, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Myrtle (Whalen) Hawk. Survivors: Sons, Burdell Kuehner Jr., Allen Kuehner, Robert Kuehner and Paul Kuehner, all of Kunkletown, Scott Kuehner of Jonas; daughters, Joan, wife of Stanley Burger, Irene, wife of William J. Silliman Jr., Shirley, wife of Carey Krum, Betty Gullo, Helen, wife of Kenny Balliet, and Rita, wife of George Swanger, all of Kunkletown, Jean, wife of G. Ronald Sporer of Honesdale and Kathryn, wife of Michael Kurtz, of Lehighton; sisters, Beatrice Berger of Palmerton and Emma Smale of Lehighton; 30 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Hawk and a sister, Patricia Hawk Ziegenfus.
