The Daily Northwestern (Oshkosh, WI) Wed 22 Sept 1886, page four:
At her mother's home on Algoma street Bertha Tesch, the third daughter of Mrs. G. Tesch, died this morning shortly after 12 o'clock. She had been sick nearly ten weeks and membranous croup finally was the cause of her death. The deceased was a very bright, affectionate girl of fifteen, and her death is a sad loss to her family and she will be missed by a large circle of friends and acquaintances. The funeral is not definitely arranged, but will probably be held at the family residence Saturday afternoon.
Note: Wisconsin Death Index gives death date as 21 Sept.
