BIRCH--Mrs. Florence Louise Birch, 54, Mill St., Candor, died this morning at her home after an apparent heart attack.

She was a lifelong resident of Candor and operated the dry goods store in Candor for a number of years.

She is survived by her husband, Marvin L. Birch, Candor; a daughter, Miss Patsy Birch, Rome; a son, Raymond Birch, USAF, Battle Creek, Mich.; a brother, Raymond Scharf, Candor; two grandchildren; her step-mother, Mrs. Frank Scharf, Candor; also several cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Allen Funeral Home, Candor, with the Rev. Urban F. Cline. pastor of Allen Memorial Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday evening from 7 to 9.

Mrs. Birth was born in Candor September 21, 1911 and lived here all her life. She was the daughter of the late Frank & Stella Lynch Scharf. Mrs. Birch operated a dry goods store in Candor for a number of years.

She is survived by her husband, Marvin L. Birch of Candor; a daughter, Miss Patsy Birch of Rome, New York; a son, Raymond Birch, with the USAF in Battle Creek, Mich.; a brother, Baymond Scharf of Candor; two grandchildren; her stepmother, Mrs. Frank Scharf of Candor; several cousins.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 P.M. Sunday, December 12, at the Allen Funeral Home, Candor. Rev. Urban F. Cline, pastor of Allen Memorial Baptist Church, Candor, officiated. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor.
