CANDOR -- Raymond Scharf, 79, of 5 Stowell Ave., Candor, died Monday, Nov. 3, 1986, in Tioga General Hospital, Waverly. He was born in Candor, a son of the late Frank and Stella Lynch Scharf.
Mr. Scharf was a self-employed plumber in business with his father, and worked in the Candor area until his retirement.
He is survived by his step-mother, Neta Scharf of Candor; a brother-in-law, Marvin Birch of Candor; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, in the Allen-Manzer Funeral Home, Candor, with the Rev. Guy Burt of the McKendree United Methodist Church of Candor officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
