Services were held Friday for Lettie White, 77, of 1417 Park Street, who passed away July 8 in the Edgewater Nursing Home. Rev. W. D. Starkweather officiated at services in the Grimes Funeral Chapels and interment followed in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. White, a Kerrville resident since 1930 and a prior resident of Fredericksburg, was born August 18, 1908 in Medina County. She was a housewife, and was married to Stanford W. White on May 20, 1925 in Gillespie County, and was a member of the Calvary Apostolic Church of Kerrville. Survivors include her husband, Rev. Stanford White of Kerrville; three daughters, Mrs. Bernice Lucio of Austin, Mrs. Lola Mae White of Victoria and Mrs. Flora Oatman of San Antonio; one son, J. W. White of Blanco; five sisters, Lenora Hill, Ora Dolezel, and Bertha Durst all of Kerrville, Lois Dechert and Zelma Argeler both of Fredericksburg; and Dolly Renfro of Bayfield, Colorado; brother, Lendon Palmer of Harper; 16 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
