Hannah Jane Howard
Hannah Jane Andrews, daughter of James and Ellen Andrews. was born December 27, 1869, in Warren county, Ia., and died December 1, 1943, in Belleville, at the age of 73 years, 11 months and 26 days.

When she was one year old, her parents moved to a homestead in Republic county near Cuba, where she grew to womanhood.

She was united in marriage in 1889 to John Howard, and to this union three daughters were born. two of whom preceded heir mother in death. Olive in 1892 and Bertha in 1931. Her husband died in 1930.

She leaves to mourn her departure one daughter, Mrs. Erma Beecher; two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Easter Hotchkiss of Miltonvale and Mrs. Minnie McCarty of Wichita; two brothers, Richard Andrews of Missoula, Mont., and Albert Andrews of Cuba; a number of nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted at the Wesleyan Methodist church in Belleville by the Rev. O.G. Wilson of Miltonvale. Interment was in the Hawks cemetery near Cuba.
