James W. Andrews was born in Richland township, Republic county Kansas, September 11th, 1882, and has resided here all of his life. He was one of the best known and most highly respected young men in the community; and his death, which was very sudden and unexpected was a sad shock to the whole neighborhood.
He died May the 5th, 1904, aged 22 years, 7 months and 25 days.
A very large concourse of people attended his funeral, which was conducted by Rev. Leah Bales.
He leaves a mother, two brothers and four sisters to mourn his loss.
How we miss the one we loved.
He was by all who knew him loved.
Now that he had gone upon high
Let us to Jesus all draw nigh.
