Harold Ernest Hostetter, 82, of International Falls, MN, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at his home. He was born on May 22, 1931 on a farm near Hecla, South Dakota.

He attended the Country School through 8th grade and graduated from North Central Bible College in 1959.

Harold married Ruth Althaus on September 1, 1956.

He was a Pastor for the Hawthorne, Wisconsin Assembly of God Church, and International Falls, Minnesota Assembly of God Church. He worked at Boise Cascade in Int'l Falls from 1964 to 1993.

He served in the US Marine Corps from 1951 to 1955. He was with the 3rd Marine Artillery Division, attaining the rank of Corporal. He served in Korea and received an Honorable Discharge. In 2000, he received a Letter of Appreciation and a medal from the Republic of Korea, the letter being signed by the President of Korea – thanking him for his service to their country.

He was a member of the Full Gospel Fellowship Church in Int'l Falls. Harold enjoyed attending a men's Breakfast Bible Study where he made many friends. He loved studying and reading his bible and he had a close relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. He loved his family, and enjoyed spending time with them.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Enos Sr. and Edna Hostetter; brothers, Frank, Enos Jr., James, John, Paul, and Delbert Hostetter; sisters, Mary McCormick and Lila Sanderson; and great-grandson Joshua Hostetter.

Harold is survived by his wife, Ruth; sons: Steven (Candy) Hostetter, Ronald Sr. (Sharon) Hostetter, Kevin (June) Hostetter, and Harold Jr. (Julianna) Hostetter; grandsons: Ronald Jr. (Sara), Blake (Tana), Eric (Amanda), Ryan, Logan, Benjamin, and Kolter Hostetter, Luke Yossapat Chan-a-rune; granddaughter, Andrea Hostetter; eight great-grandchildren; sisters: Ann Kimball, Edna (Jerry) Keeley, Sharon (Robert) Taylor, and Lois Hostetter; several nieces, nephews, and all of his loving extended family.

Interment was at Ericsburg Cemetery.
