My earliest known ancestors are James and Catherine (Thomas) Adams. They were born in 1800-1810 in TN & NC respectively. They moved to Ray County Missouri in the fall of 1837 along with a wagon train caravan of the Grimes, McGlothin, Yoakum, Kincaid, and VanBebber families.
